Tooth sandblasting Wrocław? Remove tartar with us
- Scaling and sandblasting are methods of removing deposits and stains from the surface of teeth, whitening them and helping to prevent gum disease and caries. It is worth knowing that these are two separate procedures, although in everyday language their names are often used interchangeably. Scaling and sandblasting are usually performed together to provide a comprehensive cleaning of the oral cavity, however, depending on individual needs, it is possible to perform only one treatment. What does tooth sandblasting look like? Sandblasting involves applying a jet of fine pieces of powder under pressure to the surface of the teeth. Thanks to this, we remove all deposits and discolourations also from places difficult to reach, e.g. interdental spaces. Tooth sandblasting gives the best results in combination with scaling.
- Scaling consists of the removal of tartar from the surface of the teeth and spaces between them. During the procedure we use special dental tools such as a scaler, which are effective but safe for teeth and gums.
What are the benefits of tooth sandblasting and scaling? First and foremost, these treatments remove deposits, discolouration and tartar, which negatively affect not only aesthetics, but also health. Regular, professional cleaning procedures are therefore very important for maintaining oral health. At the same time, they are safe and have no side effects. A slight sensitivity is possible immediately after the treatment, but this lasts for a maximum of a few hours. Teeth after sandblasting and scaling are visibly cleaner, whiter and healthier.
Teeth fluoridation Wrocław? Strengthen your teeth with us
Toothfluoridation is a prophylactic treatment which helps prevent caries and strengthens the tooth structure. It is most often performed as the last stage of complete oral hygiene, after sandblasting and scaling. Fluoridisation is particularly beneficial for children and adolescents, as it helps to build strong and healthy teeth from an early age. Nevertheless, adults will also benefit greatly from regular dental fluoridation.
What does a fluoridation treatment look like? Fluoride is applied to the teeth in the form of varnish, foam or gel. It only takes a few minutes. The treatment is simple and safe, causing no pain, discomfort or sensitivity. We also provide detailed post-fluoridation recommendations to enhance and prolong the effect of the treatment.
What does fluoridation do?
- strengthening and remineralising enamel,
- prevention and treatment of early caries,
- counteracting tooth hypersensitivity,
- inhibition of bacterial proliferation.
Tooth flu oridation is safe, as it is a local, external supply of fluoride to the tooth surface in a dose which is adapted to the individual needs of the patient. We perform it for people of all ages, especially if they are at risk of tooth decay or have early signs of weakened tooth enamel.
Caries is one of the most common dental diseases, which can even lead to the need for tooth extraction and the spread of inflammation in the body. According to the principle that prevention is better than cure, it is worthwhile to carry out tooth fluoridation on a regular basis, e.g. once a year or once every 6 months.
