Malocclusion correction Wroclaw? We will improve the aesthetics of your smile
Malocclusion can include a variety of problems, such as crooked teeth, protruding teeth or a crooked bite. The correction of malocclusion is intended to improve the abnormal alignment of teeth and bite, and thus the chewing function and aesthetics of the smile.
Based on the diagnosis, the Milanova® Clinic orthodontist will select the type of braces and estimate the duration of treatment. However, you need to be patient, as orthodontic treatment requires regular check-ups (usually every few weeks) to monitor progress and adjust the braces to the changes in your teeth. The result, however, can be stunning – a permanent and aesthetically pleasing correction of the malocclusion.
Placing orthodontic braces Wrocław? Only with orthodontist Milanova® Clinic.
Placing braces on the teeth is aimed at correcting misaligned teeth and bite. Braces consist of metal or ceramic components, called brackets, and wires that connect the brackets and apply pressure to the teeth, moving them gradually into the desired position.
The brackets, which the braces contain, are bonded to the front surface of each tooth with a special adhesive. The orthodontist then cuts the wires to the appropriate length and bends them to exert pressure on the teeth in the direction of the intended changes. However, in order to achieve the result of a beautiful smile, it is necessary to make the appropriate adjustments to the braces regularly at follow-up visits.
Fixed braces Wroclaw
Fixed orthodontic braces allow correction of almost any, even the most advanced malocclusion. For example, it will be perfect for crowding teeth, bite-bite, backbite, forebite and open bite. Fixed braces, unlike overlay braces, do not require regular removal and reattachment, as they are permanently attached to the teeth. As a result, the effectiveness of the treatment does not depend on whether you remember to wear them. Fixed braces work and set your teeth 24 hours a day. The advantage of this method of orthodontic treatment is also that it can be used at almost any age.
The entire construction of the braces consists of arches, brackets, rings and elastics. Keeping in mind not only the health aspects, but also the visual ones, we offer fixed aesthetic braces. It is characterized by milky or transparent brackets, making it less visible on the teeth. In the treatment process, regular visits to the orthodontist to monitor and modify the various stages of correction are very important.
Self-ligating braces
Self-ligating orthodontic braces are a type of fixed braces that do not require elastics. The arches are held in place by special tabs built into the brackets. This makes it easier to use the braces on a daily basis and maintain hygiene, as well as improving aesthetics. Self-ligaturing braces often make it possible to achieve the desired results in a shorter period of time and require fewer follow-up visits compared to traditional braces.
Overlay treatment Wroclaw
Overlay braces are a modern orthodontic treatment solution designed for people who, for various reasons, do not want or cannot wear fixed braces. Orthodontic overlays are very discreet, almost invisible on the teeth and unnoticeable to others.
- A distinctive feature is that the overlays can be removed at any time. This is a big advantage, but also a liability. Tooth caps instead of fixed braces are recommended mainly for disciplined people who will have no problem following the doctor’s instructions on how long to wear the caps during the day on their own.
- Tooth cap braces are very easy to use and allow you to maintain a high level of hygiene.
- Compared to fixed braces, a dental overlay is often better tolerated, causing less discomfort and pain with equally high performance.
- Before starting treatment, you can see the entire process of moving teeth and visualize the end result in 3D technology.
Retention treatment Wroclaw
Tooth retention is the final stage of orthodontic treatment. Its purpose is to maintain the correct position of teeth and prevent the recurrence of malocclusion. We offer the following types of retention braces:
- Fixed retention usually in the form of a bonded splint, which is a special wire glued to the inside of the teeth,
- Removable retention in the form of a transparent splint or a removable appliance consisting of a palatal part and fixing brackets.
Retention treatment is necessary to maintain the results achieved while wearing braces regardless of whether it was fixed or overlay braces. Giving up retention or failing to follow the orthodontist’s recommendations can lead to a recurrence of adverse tooth movement and the need for further orthodontic treatment. At Milanova Clinic, during the consultation, we individually select the best type of retention and explain how to take care of it so that it serves you for as long as possible.

- We meet regularly for follow-up consultations to assess the condition of the bite and catch any problems at an early stage.
